There's actually enough time to keep GL up between hand phase and add phase in A3S. You only have 1-2 seconds to attack once the adds appear though.

your still better off using tornado kick for the extra damage on the main boss, the add phase is timed, and killing each add shouldn't rely on you as a monk going into phase with GL3.

usually a bit higher, short TP starve and low crit rate.
if your looking for a guideline for dps, im usually between 1250-1300 depending on crit rate by the end of the fight, but i did have 1 random parse at above 1350

edit: that run is with 2 quarantines
