Purify has a 180s cool down,150 enhanced, while tri disaster 60s. It's obvious se won't do shit at this point. Everyone enjoy your broken ass pvp.

You only needed Cometeor in Slaughter, in which both BLM/SMN had. Getting kills may have helped BLM (although wasn't too hard as a SMN), but you only need Cometeor to rack up kills.

I am not for changing smns. But with all the dots debuffs and everything. Would it hurt for them to drop purify to 60 seconds and enhance to 30. Would allow a lot of dps who complain to be more masters of their own destiny.
Power creep is a thing though. Tri disaster in it's current state screams for a change to purify, but it will probably slow the game down immensely just because of one class' new toys. Imagine the effect cleansing more than twice as fast would have against stuns and the slow dots other classes put down, it would be brutal.
Considering how many many stuns we have to put up with on Summoner, and sometimes even have to purify to survive, that might not be such an imbalanced thing. After all when I have to get out of a long stun so I can actually make countermoves (which Summoners have to do with melees just the same as they do with Summoners) if I have to Purify that stun it sucks big time, and now I'm open to a tridisaster from someone on YOUR team! So I might be all on board with a shorter purify being available.Power creep is a thing though. Shoutout- I just did my first 24 man Sieze mode, it was awesome. Got my Slaughterhouse Three (500 kills) achievement that round. It should have been higher by now, except for the fact I went SCH a lot to ensure I'd get that ADS mount when we didn't have enough healing on teams otherwise. 500 more to Slaughterhouse Four where I actually get a title.

I hope we see some changes in 3.1 for PvP (otherwise we seriously need to have a PvP intervention with SE). The average amount of battle high summoners I see is astounding. Wish I leveled the class just for PvP but it's not my style in PvE.
I love the 24 man mode. I feel like I do so much more for my team when I'm in it compared to 72 man and you don't get 15 people chasing you down just to kill you... -.-Shoutout- I just did my first 24 man Sieze mode, it was awesome. This thread will get us nerfed... again.
I'm all for it, although I feel it will be imbalanced because it shakes up game length and the interactions of melee classes far more than ranged and this change would primarily be because of one class. Though I will gladly accept this change since it would allow me to kamikaze far more to remove aetherflows off scholars and summoner's and to somersault casters.Considering how many many stuns we have to put up with on Summoner, and sometimes even have to purify to survive, that might not be such an imbalanced thing. Edit: Actually it would just be an indirect buff to ranged dps and therefore summoners because they deal most of their damage in the presence of healers. While this change would be interesting, it wouldn't change anything but make everyone harder to kill.
