Enjoy Summoner before it gets nerfed...

Basically get to instantly kill anyone every minute. Get your aetherflow > pop buffs if up (not really necessary but safer) > Tri-Disaster > fester + nrg drain + painflare > bahamut trance > deathflare... and maybe hit an enkindle but that is just plain overkill at times. It's good AoE tho with deathflare ;O

Can't see this lasting in wolves den if they plan to keep competition in there with the 3.1 patch.

I haven't been killed by a summoner yet (I think) in the new mod. Actyally the job I have killed the most is summoner. At one match it got to a point I couldn't complete the kill 'cause I felt sorry for them.

Hate all the dots they give me though, but I can easily dispel them myself.

Well, now I've been killed a few times by summoner. Dot hell -> burst -> dead

That's indeed how it works with a SMN. It's a burst machine every minute or so. But if you can interupt his flow or get him after he unloaded a bunch on an unfortunate teammate, he'll die if not heavily supported. And even if he's healed, he'll be useless with no stacks.

Also, if anything, MNK are a great counter against SMN (probably the best counter tbh).

Shoulder Tackle his face right after you get hit by Tri-disaster, use the stun time to cleanse all your debuffs if available, stun him again with Steel Peak, and then One Ilm Punch him (may need a few uses) to make him completly useless (loss of Aetherflow or Bahamut stacks = dead SMN), then proceed to finish him. Weapon Throw if he tries to sprint away. Use Somersault or Perfect Balance for instant One Ilm Punch fun.

Want a faster kill on a SMN with some battle buffs? Shoulder Tackle > Limit Break. Problem solved.

Read the post I quoted from (myself), and you know what you said is true. As MNK I find SMN and BLM easiest to kill.

Just noct noct noct aspected benefic rinse repeat CC smns boom free smn kill. They should get a buff at this rate.
