also, under the conditions that you have no oGCDs to use in the next 3 seconds or so, if you drop gauss for a hotshot refresh or for a split shot, wait for your auto attack, then reapply gauss after your auto is finished (all in the same gcd. so it'd look like, for example; gauss lead>(drop gauss)>split shot(gauss once you see the auto)>etc) it's a decent (read: miniscule) dps increase. something fun to do really when you run out of buttons to press.
gauss hotshot - 156 potency
gauss split shot - 182 potency
i dunno how much potency autos are, seems like around 70-80, but assuming 75, hotshot+auto is 195 and split+auto is 215 vs gauss hotshot/split
its a bit hard with a ravana wep because of the delay on it, though. sometimes you won't even get the auto if the timing (which you can't really control or keep track of) of your autos is bad

Ok, i need advice here as a MCH. I just run Alexander Turn 4 and it went fairly well. I was always saving burst for the adds to melt them down, placing the mana turret on overclocking when the healers needed it because for the heals. Got wildfire cutted out by the quarantine too. Only died a couple of times because of bad luck with the exploding balls and the boss targeting me with an attack to finish the job. At the end of the run i knew i wasnt the top dps, but it turned out i was the lowest by far a lot of difference. Now, my question is simple: How do you guys handle that kind of mechanics? If i know there will be adds that need to be killed assap i usually save my best shots for them, targetting the boss with the rest of the abilities i have at the time.
Focus target boss. You'll see him use quarantine, which is your cue to prepare. You shouldn't need to save cooldowns for it. Use everything for wildfire. I guess you should save reload/assemble for either wildfire or adds in this particular fight, just make your wildfires count. You shouldn't be handling that much mechanics unless your party is bad.
hi all
i have a question about Wildfire
is it possible to crit with it ?
So how is Machinist now? I'm kind of interested in playing it, but not if they still suck.
The dolls shouldn't be requiring any CDs. Generally all the groups I have been in have had ranged on the add that spawns opposite the boss and then helps the ones coming from the side. If the OT isn't able to get an add due to Quarantine a melee picks up their add. While in Quarantine you should be good with just quick reload and a reassembled Clean Shot with blank and Head Graze/Supressive Fire. All your burst should be used on the boss and I recommend not bursting the center after killing the first leg and waiting for the opposite one. By the time you're on the center for the last phase you should have a hypercharge available (If you've used it twice for burst already) by around 60% for healers if they need it.Ok, i need advice here as a MCH.
