They probably think I'm stupid and will fall for their wiles...which I don't and I usually automatically go up to the whisperers name and blacklist them. I did accidentally add one of those 'sellgil' people a bit back (then when I realized what it was I blacklisted that person too)...I hope that doesn't give me a problem.

The only "problem" that could give you is gilspam in your mail box. Don't worry about SE - they don't manage to ban all the botters and spammers, even if they wanted to, they wouldn't have the time to give any trouble to players who accept friend requests from bots --- not like that's an offense in any way, shape or form, mind you.

I don't trust when they say 'hardwork' or 'handwork'...or whatever other term they use to lure people into falling for it...I know they bot for the gil.

Yeah I wouldn't trust a spammer either. Sometimes they even claim it's "legal" to buy gil. Anyhow, I doubt people get their accounts hacked - even if you willingly gave them your login information, unless your e-mail account is in their hands, they can not log on your account. Any login attempt from a different location or device than your own will only trigger an e-mail to be sent to you to make you change your password. So all those bot accounts are either legitimately bought, or they got their keys via different means, but the accounts themselves aren't stolen.

You'd be surprised how many people use the same password for most of their things. And im pretty sure they ask for a email adress when you buy gil (no clue, i will never enter one of those virus/trojan infested sites myself to find out), or install you a nifty little keylogger on your PC the average Protection program wont detect.And the second you are stupid enough to pay with a credit card or paypal account (that uses your email and the same password), they got you at the balls like coke sticks in your nostrils. The best thing you can do to give them more gil is to buy gil from them when you have no clue what easily can be done with your PC :/

But honestly, i dont feel bad for gilbuyers that get credit card info stolen and their accounts hacked

Anyways, you probably will get a spam tell eventually, but it may just be me getting spammed more than usual, dunno.

Still, I haven't gotten the type of spam that most servers get on a daily basis, even tonight. I've received 7 tells tonight vs the usual 0-1. You're still on one of the best servers to avoid RMT, that's for sure.

Information of free trial accounts, including restrictions already in place.

Already seen that and this is actually inacurate. I've created my account (trial at first) at the begining of this year (february) and, when on trial period, i could /tell and /friend individuals, even at level 3. So, there is two possibilities :
- set in place only at the latest patch
- or not actually in place
Pick your choice. (too lazy to try now)
