considering that since less than 10% of the ffxiv populaton even reads the forums, the amount of people willing to tae a stand in this manner is insignificant to their bottom line.

Fortunately, Square's rules only apply to Square's forums. There are numerous sites to post including but not limited to ZAM, massivelyop, mmorpg.com, tentonhammer, mmosite, etc.,etc, etc.

And in fact, it doesn't even have to be FFXIV exclusive. An actual day where ALL anti-RMT gamers in ALL mmos collectively make their displeasure known to their respective mmo devs via the most useful tool at their disposal: their wallet.

This. Same thing with casters wearing a sugarloaf hat and red velveteen dress, gatherers wearing a combination of a cotton doublet and dark blue sarouel, and every Hyur with either of these faces. I could just look at their name tags but I disabled them because they take too much space.

I'd be more surprised if there was one in the first place. If there is one i expect it to be "typical staff responses" toward issues.

The only person who can reply to this problem is Yoshida-san or his superiors. They are quite blatant in their efforts not to do so. Only they can tell us why this so and they won't.

The amount of, "I'm angry cause of stuff that every MMO deals with, so im posting angry posts" in this thread makes me giggle like a schoolgirl. Even better is the fact people still think "Petition" threads do anything.

Facts:
1. RMT sucks and the Devs know this.
2. CM's scan threads/posts for rule breakers, not opportunities to reply to every angry posters demands.
3. "Petition" threads serve only to annoy CM's/Dev's/Everyone involved. They already know its a problem, the fact they haven't done anything about it means they either have more important things to worry about *cough*Heavensward*cough*, or they haven't found a reasonable solution to the issue.
4. This is the internet, and assuming anything you post has any more validity to it than the next person's post is absurd, especially when it comes to how companies should run their business ("SE should do this about the issue")

At this point i'm starting to suspect SE of RMT and botting to inflate numbers. I witness 3 events in 2 hours one of which i reported and noone ever got back to me. 7 hours later the bot train was still rolling. Then there was the the blm's invisible inside the map. I had to go to battle log to get names of the 2 and later saw them again one dead, i can only assume he wasn't fully submerged in the map to avoid acid sprays.

This is off topic but i get into my 1st dungeon on new character and the blm and nin are in some kind of war with each other and me for enmity. (By attacking the same time i do or unloading after i hit mob once in a pack of 4, lol. I love FF but these things i listed made me log out yesterday after an extended break of many months, and question whether i even want the expansion i pre-ordered but am still waiting to actually buy because they don't charge for the product until tomorrow or some other convoluted bs.... Meanwhile the dates in the character screen still overlap like 7 and 8th day still both say 7, or in one month the 14th and 15th both say 14th and 16th is 15th and 17th is 17th. This was a beta bug. The bugs with controller and map still exist. so many little things, like my gladiator and the carpenter having same stance still. Why do you think it cool to try and take threat for yourself as dps? We can see you aren't attacking the same mob as rest of us, we can tell when you jump the gun in a fight. Do you really want to be the next to ko if i die? lol
My point is that yoshi-p has stated they are 4 years ahead of us maybe it was planning. This worries me because it shows they are not looking back. While the blm changes give me hope that elements will matter in HW and that they are listening if only a little does that mean that the older content just falls to wayside for the remainder of FFXIV existence?
