Well, you are the one trying to dictate how other people must play their game.
Now, for the sake of what, I ask?

I don't think it's right that people can buy the best things in the game with real money.

I know that, you made that clear. The matter of it is that "feeling" of yours just serves to mantain the exclusivety status of the few who can invest a multitude of hours per week, so they and only they have access to some of the content of the game.

Now, as much as you feel that paying for gil is not right, I don't feel it is right to deny people content of a game they like and pay for based on how much time they are able to invest on it.
