Not really? Maybe on the PLEX issue (and if "likes" meant anything, my counter argument has almost double the OPs post, so not in that case either), but definitely not on pay 2 win games. The outcry against it was huge when the cash shop was brought in, and continued on with EB rings. Oh, let's not forget Yoshi himself saying NO PAY TO WIN with a big X with his arms, so if we take his word, lol you'll never see it anyway. Even with EB, the GMs said the free gil people got was a mistake.
No one is dictating shit, you are the one that is trying to change the game from how it stands now. Everyone else is saying that it's excellent as is.

Is he? The game already allows you to buy in-game gil with real money via wedding bands. As a matter of fact, I participated in this very system myself last night by paying 1.2 million gil for a platinum wedding band.
You say you don't want the game to change, and yet it already has. You say there is a massive, overwhelming outcry against the cash shop, and yet with almost every single new patch the cash shop grows even larger.
It sounds to me like your point of view has already lost.
Which the GMs already said that it was a mistake and told players to avoid doing so, but wouldn't punish them since the cat was out of the bag. So grats, you exploited a flaw in the EB system, hope it was a $20 well spent. Is he? The game already allows you to buy in-game gil with real money via wedding bands. As I said before, I wonder how many people in this thread have bought gil. If they fight so badly for a legit way to buy gil, what would buying a few million from a gil seller matter? Heck, just buy some gil, buy a powerlevel service (oooh like the person asking for instant level 50s!) and it doesn't even matter if you got banned!

If it is a flaw in the system and not working as intended, then surely SE is taking steps to fix the problem. And if they aren't, then why do you think that is?
And you need to work on your reading comprehension. Thanks to this lovely little system I got to spend a trivial amount of in-game money (for me) on something that would have otherwise cost me $20.
Whatever it may be doesn't prove your point. You seem to be making the two wrongs make a right arguement. Well, two wrongs don't make a right. Them screwing up once and failing to fix it despite their own acknowledgement it was a mistake does not in any reasonable or logical way support your assertion that its ok to make the same mistake again.
