    No, I got the joke, it's just the 'light' aspect of it disappeared for me with the use of an expletive.

    However I went back and added a more light hearted aspect to my reply to you, because i didn't want to just be a pain about it.

    Nah it's fine. It's ok to joke about Elezen babies having their ears removed to feed kittens but if I say "shit" than it's crossing a line and destroying the "light-hearted" feel that is associated with cannibalism....

    I haven't mentioned that Lalafell were once considered (according to my slightly insane grand mother who also believed that Hyur Highlanders eat rocks) snacks by Miq'ote, have I? Nor can I really call it cannibalism, unless of course you have tried Elezen ear-lobe Fricassee? My great great Grand mother did not relate whether the dish was ever consumed by the Elezen people. I cannot help but doubt that it was. I've always thought that the ear-lobe thing was some kind of religious rite - similar to the horribly barbaric practice that some Hyur have of removing a small amount excess skin from their male offspring - and that the 'harvesting' was more scavenging by heartless and desperate Miq'ote.

    Sadly, many horrible things have happened in our collective past histories, and although these things are sometimes referenced in our culture such as the name of a traditional food, the actual truth is buried in millennia long since past.
