I'm not assuming; It's simply math when you look at the rotations.

Skill and Gear being equal, it would be pointless to design the trinity as it is if Tank could outdo DPS. If that were the case, why wouldn't coil groups go with all Wars as melee DPS? Because, again all things being equal, a tank will never out DPS a DPS.

Also @Bamboofox: Agreed, you can get in 1 quick rotation per tower cycle in that case
