If players can't clear SCoB they won't clear FCoB anyways, why move players into content they have no business being in? If someone can't clear Titan Hard Mode would you throw them into Titan EX? These changes just kick the can down the road and ensure more content will be nerfed because the players who will clear due to changes like this aren't able to clear the previous (easier, even before nerf) content anyways - so what chance will they have in even harder content?

Who cares if older content gets nerfed? Enjoy the new stuff while people are still struggling with old stuff. Your shiny High Allagan gear is no longer the shiny new stuff, so don't be sad other people are getting it. Now you can lord your dreadwyrm gear over everyone...until next patch cycle, that is.

You don't get it, missy. It isn't about the content nerf, it's the extremes they go with the nerf. It basically becomes "dps the boss till its dead". Now think carefully, do you really enjoy that?! Echo buff is MORE than enough for nerfing content. You can push phases a lot faster and skip mechanics like people do in CT/ST. There's no need to get rid mechanics and say "go stand there and do nothing". No other MMO does that, quite a few of them just allow you to re-visit old raids without level sync after expansion comes out. Now speaking of that, I can only imagine this becoming barbie doll adventures after the expansion, the way SE is going right now.
