You got the Tomestone for the weapon! I bought the pants and saving for chest now, probably 2-3 weeks before we clear T12, no one in my raid group uses crafted/melded gear. Hoping for the gloves and helm to drop soon!

Don't worry^^ I know they need buffs, just they're not as far behind as people in one of my linkshells were making out (350 being consdered good for DRG on 10).

Don't get me wrong, they can get a tiny nudge in the dps department, but the exaggerations I see people making about Dragoons is quite annoying, they are no where near as bad as people try to make it seem to be.

TBF, Goad comes with 0 DPS decrease for the NIN and TP song would be played for both a DRG and a MNK in the same situation.

That is why I did not mention NIN, and from the way he typed his message I am assuming he does not have a DRG in his party.

I am the DRG, we run NIN + DRG as melee.

Just for curiosity, I beat T10 2 times, I was ilv107 the first time and 110 the second, my dps was about 370/380.
Now i'm 113(/cheer belt drop) what rotation do you use?
I use this one:

but sometimes can happen that i miss a heavy trust, not alwas but can happen 1 or 2 in the entire fight

how do you reach 400-430? what is your ilv? do you use craft/pentameld gear?

Concerning macros, what's ideal wait time? Abilities are all at 2.41 recast. Is 2.5 kosher or can I get away with a smaller number?

There is no 2.41, or 2.5, or 2.01, or 2.99. There is only integers. 1, 2, or 3. Part of the design intent, to make sure macros aren't used as optimal combos I guess.

Not a Dragoon player here, but I'm recruiting for my static at the moment and Dragoon is one of the classes we could have fill the gap. Problem is I have no idea how much DPS to expect from one since it's been months since I've seen one in Coil.

In Turn 10 or dummies, what would be consider minimum, average and good DPS for a Dragoon to hit? I've talked to a friend in a linkshell about it and he said 350 on Turn 10 is pretty good for a Dragoon, is that right? It seems very low, I know they aren't the most powerful job in the world right now, but that far behind?

My friend does about 460 - 470 on dummy parses with her novus but she still has some i90 gear on .
