I have a question about Dragon Kick (mnk player here) whats the trick to landing the debuff 100% of the time? Do I need more ACC? (currently 464, but looking to bump that up a tad with some materia soon)
As it stands now its hit or miss, sometimes it sticks and sometimes it doesn't.

Wrong thread but I can answer.. Note that it doesn't apply the debuff unless you are in the Opo-Opo form (or using Perfect Balance). So if you start out with DK it won't do anything, as you do not start in any "form". If you record a miss it won't let you advance forms, so it's probably not that or you would notice (even if you did miss, as long as you are in Opo-Opo form it would apply the debuff when it finally lands). Most likely you are not progressing forms properly. No form > Raptor > Coeurl > Opo-Opo > Raptor > Coeurl > Opo-Opo > etc

Ok, hi again all, really having trouble figuring out what my next purchased sold upgrade should be, I'm at i107 now, so there isn't much left, and some of my BiS is t9, which we haven't cleared yet.

Currently I have:

Guardian's Helm of Maiming
Astrum Mail
HA Guantlets of Maiming
Guardian's Tassets of Maiming
Astrum Hose
Astrum Sabatons

Ribbon of Slaying
High Allagan Earrings of Slaying
HA Bracelets of Slaying
HA Ring of Slaying
Gloam Ring

So, yeah, pretty well decked out. I know that the Astrum Armguards are going to be BiS, but they aren't an ilvl upgrade, so I have my helm, my waist, and my necklace next in queue.

What do you all think?

1. t8 HA helm is BiS
2. t9 HA waist is BiS
3. t7 HA necklace is BIS
4. I would rather u goin for 110 Astrum gloves, 12 DET is worth 4 STR and honestly u dun need tat 25 acc from HA gloves in the full BiS 111
5. However, if ilvl is ur main concern, i would suggest helm > waist > necklace considering the stat upgrade gain

1. Pentameld "Wolfram Mask HQ" is better in stat weights than the HA.
3. According to stat weights: 6.307 Gloam Chocker vs 3.876 HA. So the chocker is better.
All of this without considering accuracy.

u need at least 475 acc for t6-8, 495 or 515 acc for t9

Well this is a dragoon thread but I think what is happening to you is your in the correct form and sometimes your not. Now if you know your for sure in the correct form then its an acc issue. Im going take a guess thats its the first one I mentioned.

High Allagan Gauntlets dropped for me yesterday and I walked out cause the other person got their loot in the text log and I misread it as I got mine. I've been trying to get those hands for weeks ;_;

The Astrum gauntlets are bis, the HA gauntlets are trash IMO. If you need accuracy get the Astrum chest then Astrum boots

Ramuh rings are being bumped up to i110 in patch 2.38

If you already have one, it will be automatically bumped-up in a few weeks.
