Oh so people can be rude in game and they won't get punished for it by SE's GM team and vote kicking for harassment doesn't actually do anything. Right.

You go ahead and test GM. But the standards are set by the player base. The GM will get the reports from the players and they can make a decision to act on them. And you can see that SE did that with the recent withdraw penalty reflect the wishes of the vast majority of the player base and this is for players they can't even directly report. SE will enforce the standards to the best of their ability, but it is up to player base to set the standards, and that is never a simple matter. SE and their TOS only sets the minimum leaving them a lot of leeway to adjust and respond as they best see fit.

Way to make a strawman. No one is asking you take everyone under your wing. If you can help when you can that is all that can be asked, as long as you are not doing the negative stuff, like exploiting other players thru clear sells, or using verbal abuse and treating them with contempt.

Our FC house was bought with everyone contributing without ever resorting to selling clears. I don't care about housing, but I know players in the FC that got their own house without ever resorting to selling clears even before this 2.4 patch, they just sell their simply gathered mats and some of their crafts got a small house for themselves, and they help with people doing T5 clears without charge and not just in our FC. I know because we've done a few when we can.
