OK, so... I saw the stuff about FCoB and was very excited about it...Then I realized I probably won't be able to even see it until the expansion. And maybe not even then.
Why? Because I'm a filthy casual.
Most, if not all of the FCs in my world (Behemoth) only recruit for statics who raid 3x/week or more. I cannot commit myself so many nights, and therefore those are out if the question. Then... there's the PF. Nice addition to the game, huh? well... not so much.
About 95% of the groups appearing on PF are Farm groups, who expect you to know the fight inside out. If you're a noob who didn't even get to clear the fight, you're out. And when, by miracle, someone (or myself) is forming a T6 learning party there, what happens is that the group takes literally *HOURS* to form (my last attempt took almost 3 hours to form the group) between people coming and leaving cuz stuff is taking too long. Then, when we finally get to the boss, some jerkass (almost always one of the tanks) leaves the group spewing things like "you noobs", "fail group" and what-nots. So, we're back on the PF for another half or full hour to find another tank... or giving up after group morale hits rock bottom.
Now the thing is... that's been happening since very little after the launch of patch 2.2!!!! So, if you didn't clear the fights before the first month, you're out of the loop?
So, my question for the community is... Is that it, then? If you can't go into Coil 3 nights or more a week, you're shut out? Nobody understands the meaning of "learning party" anymore, and we're thrown to the side, unable to do the content cuz lack of will? do ALL tanks have it so easily to the point that not a single one is still chasing content? what is happening? Do we have any hope to clear SCoB, or our only choice is to wait for 2.5 and go in there on the DF?
This is a pretty sad reality, if there are no solutions...
