How is it toxic to ask the people be more inclusive? How am making raider look bad by asking that? If anything it is the clear sellers, a subset of raiders, that is making the raiders look bad and making things toxic. You should focus your ire towards the clear sellers.

Inclusive of WHO, really? Random people I've never met and never spoken to? Am I simply a terrible person for not taking every latecomer under my wing and walking them through every piece of content? Join my FC, contribute to our little community, and we'll talk. Our group survives on the concept of mutual aid, not angels descending from heaven and saving grace.

And why the hate for selling clears? Open market, marketable skills. I spent a great deal of time honing those skills, and can earn a profit from them. Paid for both the FC house and my house!

SE does not set the standard on player ethics or sportsmanship. Clear selling has NOT be outlawed, but I am lobbying SE here to have a solid case to make it a ban-able offense. I don't have hard evidence, but it would be naive to believe that all that gil from clear sells is NOT funneled thru RMT sellers somehow.

I don't understand why is so hard to provide some useful practice-able advice for the OP, but so easy to want to defend the clear sellers? This makes no sense at all.

Pretty simple advice, but honestly, that is the core of it. If he really is capable of clearing content, and just needs time to practice, he needs to assemble the group HE needs, as it is likely others need it too. No Angels, no Heroes, just Adventurers, helping each-other on equal footing.
