You like that word a lot, hyperbole, don't you?
You've used it, idk, at least a dozen times ITT.

Your point ?
English is not my native language so I'm not familiar with every possible synonyms. But perhaps you would rather continue this discussion in french then ? I'm sure I could indulge you with plenty of synonyms for most words.
At one year in, speed running is the standard, all players are speedrunners.
I can exclude or not run with whoever the hell I want, for any reason.
If someone is willing to pay as an incentive to take them through content, I'm willing to make the exchange. I don't do crafting, I barely do gathering, and my raiding skill is how I make gil.
Inclusive? I run FC members through content all the time, I constantly ask people in my FC what their current content gate is, and how I can help. I have two characters I do this on, one for tanking/physical DPS, and one for healing/spell DPS.
Too much time and effort is spent on hating newbie/newer player that does no good for anyone. The hyperbole is constant misrepresentation of the newer players, non-raiders, etc. calling them all lazy, lack initiative, want to be spoonfed, etc. etc. etc., which is all blatantly false. Be more inclusive of them, it is simple enlightened self interest.
I have limited time to play, limited time to teach new players, and my own goals. I can't spend my entire day spoon-feeding idiots too dense to see or hear the dive-bomb marker. Again, I can and will exclude or drop anyone for any reason, because I am no person's personal tutor, and I have no responsibility to help random people for no reason. And if I feel that I'm good enough to rent my services, I'll do so.
i am just trying to cap the BT reputation right now
dont know about coils or EXs if they are a must for a casual player,
also been playing solo all the time , and only once i got into full party for hunts in which 3 members from my FC got into it
then returned to my casual soloing
You really can't read. In the exact post you quoted I said good raiders don't use PF and you respond with thkse people asking for no newb checkboxes?Yet those people treat newer players like they have ebola and want a "no newbies allowed" checkbox.
Well isn't that a funny one. How do you network and connect with people who are silent? How do you break into that secret of club so silent gestures and hidden signals? I suppose it is a secret society that is not likely to accept newcomers, i.e. exclusive.
How do you connect? How do you make friends? Seriously? Let's say I just moved to a new city. I don't know anyone. How do I make friends and connect with people? Do I put up an add on Craigs list "looking for friend to hang out with". Do I call random phone #s with my area code and ask if they want to be my friend? Do you go to the bowling alley by yourself and just look sad hoping one of those other groups of already connected people will take pity on you and invite you over? Then get indigent wheb they dont? No.
You connect with people in game the same way you do outside the game because they are people behind the screens. If you don't have any friends in RL it's not because people aren't being inclusive enough and sitting by yourself hoping some group of friends will randomly knock on your door and invite you into their circle is rediculous. You have to go out and meet people in a human way. Not just put up adds on Craigs list...error party finder. It's party finder not friend finder.
Go. Connect. With. People.
Im a casual so I understand the deal. The truth is that casuals cant do everything. Thats the tradeoff with having a busy life. You cant reasonably expect to do relevant hardcore content while maintaining a non committal game schedule.
Raids are for raiders. Dungeons and primals are for ppl like us. Crafts and melds are for ppl like us. Quests and story too. We can still keep up on the gear curve without hitting the raids.

You are implying that raiders don't have a "busy life".
All you need for raiding is some hours during the evening a couple times a week. And voilà! You are suddenly a raider.
Please do not bring the "busy life" card into play. It's quite stupid.
I think the biggest problem people run into while using DF for these things is people that will stick around. People go into EX fights and turns expecting round 1 success. There are a lot of factors to why getting into one of these fights with people you don't know is going to require more than one attempt. For starters, you have to learn how these people play. Everybody has a different play style. So we have to get use to how other people play. As a healer I have to watch how the other people play. Do they use CS and wait until somebody is almost dead before they pop out of it and start curing? Do they have a Regen rotation? Does the tank pop skills at the right time? Is he using CDs correctly? Do the DPS avoid AoEs? People need to learn you can't quit after a couple attempts.
Using DF you are going to get people that have never done these fights before. So they need time to learn. You can watch all the videos you want to watch. It's putting those tricks into effect that is the tricky part. Give people time. Don't give up so easy. If you notice somebody doing something wrong, coach them on what to do that could make them better. You're not going to get the best group ever using the DF, so you need to make due with what you have. Don't forget, everybody has a different play style. Just because that is not how you would play the job, doesn't mean that they are playing the job wrong.
Ugh lets not get defensive. All I am trying to imply is that there those of us who cant meet the demands of a static and those that can. I personally dont have the time to put xiv on a static schedule. Between work and other social obligations, ffxiv time is sporadic.
Then there are those of us that can. Idk which adjectives to use but thats all Im trying to say. Theres busy and too busy for XIV statics.
