Why am I a crybaby? Because I use Capital Letters to signify important points? I enjoy the game the way it is, as well as many others. I am adamantly against the gameplay being nerfed into the ground because you can't wait to see what happens to Louisoix

Did you even get the context of what I was replying to or did that point just flew across your head ? Someone called them insecure raiders demanding perfection based on a 10+years old stereotype proved wrong on multiple occasions, I claim otherwise, that they are actually nice people, which I know based of my personal experience. And here you come after, claiming they are only nice because it benefits themselves, without a lick of proof.
Fact of the matter is plenty of people that raids in this game at the highest level are nice people who are willing to help other people out just as long as these people show that they're willing to put effort into progressing. In nearly 15 years of MMO that I've played (hence personal experience), the people that were actually the meanest and most self-centered were casuals and some the nicest people were endgame raiders. Isn't it funny how that works ?
If you keep encountering mean people, jerks and so on, I would look in the mirror because in all those encounters, there is one common denominator: you.

Of course you would quote me specifically again - how not surprising. You're like my shadow on here now apparently.Ridiculous why? People don't have the time that is fact. SE knows this fact their data bears that out. 7 months is NOT enough time, and certainly not enough for the newbie that liked the trial and gets the new subscription tomorrow, or the legacy player that played for 1 months and for whatever reason had to be away for a year, or people that chose to focus on other aspects and now wants to jump in with final coil. You don't get to dictate how they play. SE knows that. And they want to make things inclusive and accessible, with the new content (a.ka. final coil) being the new big goal for raiders.
In regards to your pointless rant:
- 7 months is plenty of time. If you're complaining you have no time, then you're clearly playing the wrong game. MMORPGs are timesinks.
- Obviously new and returning players are going to have catch-up, however it does not mean they should be spoon fed end-game content. See my signature please.
- If they want to devote to their time elsewhere, go for it then. Again, no one is stopping you from doing so. However, don't expect people to take their time to carry or teach you content just because you chose to delay your progression time by doing other stuff in the game.
- I'm not dictating how they play. I honestly could careless how player x allocates their time.
- SE making everything easily accessible through nerfing and echo buff does not mean you will become a good player.
- Forgot to add. My friend came back from a 5 month break and recently downed T6-T8 these last 3 weeks by joining learning and progress parties. Again, he made the effort. What's stopping bad and new players from doing the same?

Omg you guys, these FFXIV SCOB Nerf Memes are hilarious.
Yep, continue to name call us and belittle us as "crybabies" and then turn around and call us elitist jerks. Makes perfect sense, right?
Just remember this, hopefully you can grasp this concept: The competitive atmosphere that these so-called "Hardcore Players" bring to a game, is far more beneficial than you might think, bro-ski. If the game is nerfed to high hell and becomes a complete walkthrough, those players are Gone, and then it just becomes a chain of events till the game winds up with a tiny population like FFXI has or the game becomes a Cash-Shop developed F2P game, with a tiny amount of new content once or twice a year. But the Cash-Shop will be jam packed with stuff, that's for sure!
Gamers who want a Decent Challenge, actually help Content to be developed and pushed out, and that is what ALOT of people do not realize is extremely healthy for this or any MMO in particular. But alas, this important point will be skipped over and picked apart like they always are.

Who know who complained about what in FFXI. I wasn't there and it is irrelevant, this is FFXIV ARR.
That is so delusional. The posts that is asking for this gets shouted down the instant they show up. People want an MMO and not an online solo game. And that is why there is consistent support for level sync at low level dungeons even with skills locked, despite the wishes of speed runners to solo stuff like totorak.
I don't know which universe you are in and where you get your numbers. But those are completely bogus, and nobody is calling you any of names until you start excluding them, verbally abuse them, and forcing them to skip cutscene, and force them to watch videos. People new to coils, new to raids, are simply happy to be in a party and to practice and wipe.
This more false exaggeration. The newer players and newbies want to earn their clear as much as anyone else, they just want a chance to be in a party to do it. The scheduling, meeting up with new people, coordinating to form a static etc. these are the harder logistics challenges that they need to overcome to do any of this content and earn a clear, and in someways that challenge is actually harder than the content itself.
They in this case is really the typical speed runner/farmer mentality. They just want people at their beck and call and take everyone else for granted. This is not how newer players or newbies think. The newbies don't even likely know enough to think about things on those terms. Heck many of them are discovering how to use the PF on T5 and usually are too shy to start their own PF party.
SE has schedule for releases and SE knows to keep the bleeding edge raider happy they need to release new content at a reasonable pace, but to avoid blocking newer players, they make the older content more accessible. There is no need to be upset about the SCOB being replace by final coil. Is just like soldiery replacing myth and whatever else replacing soldiery. The more it changes the more it stays the same.

Perhaps you better read the thread and the players from both sides that directly quoted you. Especially towards the end where you stopped posting after the 5th or 6th "I'm done with this thread".
Your "loyal fans/players" comments come to mind if you are limited on time.
