They already said they are adding something for that in 2.45. The conversation in this thread really hasn't been about helping friends at all anyway. Pretty off topic.
Did you even play endgame with these people ? I can speak from experience that most of the players that can easily clear T9 are actually nice people who are willing to endure their share of wipes while they and their static/guild learn the mechanics. They aren't demanding perfection, they are demanding that you show progress in learning the encounters. If anything, I've seen casuals and pugs be much harsher in their judgment of other people's skills
But again, good job at using a 10 years old stereotype. I bet you feel real clever.
I think this and the other 200 threads with people crying about coil is proof enough.
And strangely enough. I seem to find you in most of them.
Cant really show progress when THEY DONT LET US INTO THE GROUPS TO BEGIN WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Did you even play endgame with these people ? "They and their static/guild" - so, basically, they help themselves? How very nice of them.I can speak from experience that most of the players that can easily clear T9 are actually nice people who are willing to endure their share of wipes while they and their static/guild learn the mechanics.

If plenty of people can make an effort to build a static and clear content, so can you. You're not entitled to being invited to anyone's group if they don't want to.
Are you seriously insinuating that people who are in a progression phase aren't nice because they don't invite strangers in their progression group ?
Square isn't preventing you from joining groups. Once again if this is specifically about taking people who are beating it and helping their friends then they already announced they have something for 2.45 to help with that. No need to continue preaching about something they already said they would fix. It's not helping you make a case for what this thread was talking about. It's entirely off topic.
He means the coil lockout preventing you from going back a turn and helping friends. Which as I told him, and he chose to ignore, they are fixing in 2.45.
I, just like many others, are simply standing our ground against all these tough guy raiders that demand we're denied even a drip of ease on content. Hell its not even the content on my mind anymore. Its the sheer ARROGANCE of some of these people that have me sick to my stomach. To hell with you people.
You are on Balmung, a high population server. Now I don't know the community there, but I still see learning parties here on Excalibur pop up, so I assume it's the same case there. Those parties is where you start, and begin to learn the fight. This is how I started around when 2.3 launched, and now me and my group are getting under 50% in T8 (if lucky, might even clear Avatar this week ^^).
No one is "denying" you anything, get over yourself. You have just the same amount of a chance as everyone else. The game doesn't discriminate between characters. Also "tough guy raiders"? What is this, 2005?I, just like many others, are simply standing our ground against all these tough guy raiders that demand we're denied even a drip of ease on content. Hell its not even the content on my mind anymore. Its the sheer ARROGANCE of some of these people that have me sick to my stomach. To hell with you people.
