I think the white knights dont realize the damage of this. This isnt just some unnecesary optional service (strictly speaking, everything in this game is unnecesary, even playing it). This might be the start of a very bad history with very bad results arround pretty much everywhere.
First and most important,it moves resources and content away from the game. The very sleipnir mount or scions minions should all be ingame awards for raids, trials and events.
Now this potential awards are now behind a paywall.
Second, it creates content outside the limits of the game by giving payers content players will not get to anyway but through paying, said otherwise, not all players will be able to access 100% of the game without paying which is very diferent from retainer, fantasia and posible change name services, which are more of an account optional services that ingame content.
And third, it creates an antecedent for a very scary road ahead that really, no who wants to see this game shine, wants it to take. They said no cash shop in the past, now this. They said now that no pay to win, in a few months we will see potion bundles, exp bonuses, echo buff tickets, and more and more exclusive content behind a paywall that should be in the game in the first place cause we are paying already for it.
Cash shop is not a good idea if it brings exclusive content, cash shop should be limited to.
1.- Past event gear 2 months or older since they were added.
2.- In game mounts/minions 6 months or older since they were added.
3.- Added the account services to this, Fantasia, Retainers and future Name Change.
And thats it. No exclusive nothing, no mounts in game for cash without a good time has passed since implementation. So players still have access to a 100% of the game, they can still win their mounts/minions and devs are motivated to work and create content for adding later to the cash shop instead of having an easy way out and just put things that should be in game in the first place there.
Anyone who likes this game is against this kind of cash shop.
