Wow, this conversation is still going on after 850 posts? for the love of Byregot, I would have thought this would have died out to the "Wait and see" by now.

I posted back like 400 posts ago, and im not going to bother reading past the last 4 pages or so.

I pay a subscription fee to access the servers, not to guarantee myself every tidbit of content. There is nothing in the terms and conditions that says that my sub pays for all content, so I don't assume that it does.

People have to stop feeling so entitled. It all comes down to SE trying to make money, and if people want to buy stuff with RL money, then not offering it is losing money.

What's with the dissing on vanity when it's the only thing that never gets outdated and can be reused many times? Is it that hard to understand that everyone enjoys different aspects of the game? That not everyone gets their epeen hard with better gear and that a lot of people enjoy content outside the endless gear treadmill?

Anything that is not related to the end game raid can be added to the cash shop under the excuse that it doesn't affect progression, but progression hardly matters when the rest of the game can be moved behind a cash wall.

Yea, and a lot of people, moan for the sake of moaning. There is plenty of other vanity in the game. ZOMG i have to use cash for Odins irrelevant Horse! Waaaaaah. There is a simple solution.... dont buy it if you dont want to? Where were you ppl when ppl had to buy a CD to get a little round spinning Minion, or having to pay extra to buy a collectors edition to get some vanity crap? Cash for Fantasia Potions? Cash for an Extra retainer??? How is this any different? Spo they have to wait for releases of CDs and collectors editions to sell you items before you guys will shut up? Would it have made you feel better if Odins horse came with a special limited edition of the Expansion pack that cost $10 extra???? Your entitled nonsense is exhausting.

The company ISNT raising the price of my game, because GASP!!!!! I dont have to buy any of those things. I didnt spend money for an extra retainer, and i havnt bought any fantasia potions. And I didnt buy the soundtrack. I raised the price of my game by buying a collectors edition. Yet I dont feel entitled to extra retainers, Dalu minions, or extra Fantasia.... imagine that.

They have been giving people optional services since forever......They are OPTIONAL!!!!!

Seriously... if this is what makes you quit... good riddance. You are free to go where you want, but do the rest of us a favor and exit without being all dramatic for attention.

Stop being so ignorant, accept that other people enjoy other areas of the game, I bet if your endless progression was linked to this cash shop you wouldn't be saying the same.

Everything in this game is optional, including progression.

Why I am paying for monthly subscription? This is the content they say our monthly subscription is paying no? paying monthly subscription to keep servers up is not costly anymore reason most MMO's are free, jesus SE not even the first expansion is out yet and I already feel like they want to rip us off

This is just going around in circles. New people joining in saying the same thing that's been said many times, thinking that it's different now that they are saying it. I'm not gonna repeat the same thing to everyone that wants to stroll in here without reading.

I'll say just this. I'm not worrying about what it will become I'm mad about what it is right now. I don't care that it's vanity items or whatever, I don't want to spend more to have what I got before.

Congrats you can feel happy not caring about vanity items kuz all you do is "important stuff" in the game. It's no big deal if they take more stuff away from you and sell it to you kuz your subscription only gives you access to the severs. You won't complain. You don't mind when a company rips you off kuz you belittled your own subscription and happy bend over on your own.

Or some people have an understanding of how businesses works and/or have more disposable income. People assume everything that's going to be in the cash shop would have been in game regardless but the thing is that a lot (not everything) of this stuff can be created because people are willing to pay for them and might never have been created otherwise.
