You can make a new thread per day with that quote if you wish, but that wont change how people feel about this, that wont stop people from giving feedback and hoping for a change.

The sake of consistence isn't mandatory, they totally can revamp the first three egis. SE proved in the past to be able to dramaticaly change things if needed : at FFXI release, game design of some monsters was really horrible and wrong looking, they changed it later. On FFXIV, 1.X was "too heavy for a customer's machine" and other stuffs we all know, they discarded Tanaka and we got Yoshida + 2.0.
Consistence and Square Enix seems to not work together, which is a nice and a bad thing for us.

Oh I know they can, the last part of my post reads as "or they will have to change the first three."
