but as for not playing for looks sure alot of people do that but final fantasy does have a large base of people who are roleplayers who do play for the way things look
thats a reason for not caring either way but not a reason to opesse them being fixed as for time and resources THEY HAVE TIME TO CREATE USELESS MINIONS which dosnt effect game play what so ever so they got time to remodel

The EGIs just reminds me too much of the crystals elements you could summon as a summoner in FFXI. And, they have about the same amount of abilities. The only difference, we can set them on obey now. Big whoop.

Why is this being brought up again? Yes egis are ugly, but Im pretty sure I remember a reply from the devs that the current egis wont change but later ones will be more visually appealing or something along those lines.
