I don't know if it's a result of the mass feed, or the roundabout path I took, or if it'll work reliably, but taking the berry overload path out of the Regal loop turned out to be a good move. Landed on midnight blue, and one feed from there landed me directly on wine red instead of having to go through the browns, which I'm going to have to chalk up in the "Win" column and not ask too many questions, lol.

Some of the variance could definitely be explained by hitting walls and then coming back off of them with offset values. Interested to see where this theory goes.
