Yeah, you won't get more yellow then Honey, 255,199,39, or FFC727, the next closest is Millioncorn, 231, 159, 55 or E79F37.

Ya know, your screen shot makes me think -- how many people are taking screenshots, particularly of the "Examine chocobo" window?
Can we get these posted to an image-sharing site like Imagur.com or something? I'd be happy to compile them into a single reference so we can see all the different possible variations. Making sure that your mount has no gear equipped would be best, like the one in Ravenloft's post or these:
I really was JOKING when I said this.. Found this real early this morning, but now I don't know what to do. lol... Bingo?
Don't Worry, it's still on Black. I haven't fed it Apples YET. I'm pondering what to do.
Jayne422 or Anonymoose, I really may need to use your stables temporarily. I really want to take him out and take SSs. Might even keep him that way. I really don't know.
I've become stuck after following one of the guides commonly seen online. It has worked quite well for me so far, and little by little I've been working towards "Apple Green" for my Chocobo. Unfortunately now that I'm apparently one step away (my Chocobo is Celeste Green), all I need to do is feed him Mamook Pears.
Unfortunately I have been feeding him again and again and after 14 pears the only message I am getting is "Ganymede devours the mamook pear." There are no more hints of color change or feather molting. The guide does not suggest this is a wall but, at least for me, I do not seem to be seeing any more progress with pears.
Any suggestions?

You did hit a wall. Celeste Green is (151, 191, 191), and by feeding pears, you are doing -R+G-G, but there is no more in game color that has higher G value while the RB values goes down.Unfortunately I have been feeding him again and again and after 14 pears the only message I am getting is "Ganymede devours the mamook pear." ... I got stuck on a Celeste Green/Apple Green loop for a week, during which I was able to go from Celeste Green to Apple Green with 1 apple and then a second time in a separate feeding with two pears and then a third time with four pears.I've become stuck after following one of the guides commonly seen online. I think you just got unlucky, I've had to feed my bird up to 17 fruit for a proc.
My results starting from default color:
Every time I stopped feeding was because I got the change feathers message.
Xelphal Apple x02 - 6hours+ | Results - Millioncorn Yellow
Xelphal Apple x10 - 6hours+ | Results - Pumpkin Orange
Xelphal Apple x11 - 6hours+ | Results - Sunset Orange
Xelphal Apple x11 - 6hours+ | Results - Blood Red

My goal was Dalamud Red but I would really like to see myself on top of a Wine Red chocobo. I think I'll stop here for now cause I look so gd good. http://i.imgur.com/wVfG0s0.jpg

Guys i want to ask something for Chocobo Colour Calculator..When we put the current color and we choose for the desired color, the calculator says : ''Feed the following to change to your desired colour'' but have a note that says : ''Note: It is recommended to alternate your fruits when feeding, so that you do not max out your RGB values by feeding all of the same type of fruit at once. Easiest way to do this is split the right amount of fruits up in your inventory and feed small amounts of each type until you have ran out.'' So i just split the fruits and give it in smaller amounts until i run out or i split it in smaller amounds and if the message appear that says that the feathers will change in 6 hours i stop and wait for 6 hours and then i continue with feeding until the next message appear's again that says that the feathers will change in 6 hours so i stop again wait again 6 hours and im doing all this until i run out??Anyone know pls??
