With that mindset just because you say something does not make it so. That whole potato bit from before was such an logical fallacy it isn't even worth any new poster's time to bother reading.

You can't win against TOR tier fans OP, Coil is simply the game's highest difficulty dungeon, just let them think they've won whatever it is they've won. We'll get a proper second raid next week and big group PvP, we most likely will get CT3 before the expansion and maybe more proper multi party content after that.
You can form multiple groups - you just don't have any system to link them together other than linkshells (gee, a word that's got a meaning, but that meaning is not in the dictionary, how odd) and zone chatting.
Didn't they say though, that they plan on adding the ability to actually send 24 people into the same CT instance? They need to hurry up and get that going - as a starter towards adding more raid content.
Coil is simply one of the two raids available in this game. That is the pure unarguable fact of the matter. So in this regard yes, the OP has no hope of winning whatever it is you think he is competing for.You can't win against TOR tier fans OP, Coil is simply the game's highest difficulty dungeon, just let them think they've won whatever it is they've won. Nothing I've said has invalidated or devalued their accomplishment in beating BCoC and/or SCoB. I've simply said that the game needs more raid, and accurately said what a raid is.You can't win against TOR tier fans OP, Coil is simply the game's highest difficulty dungeon, just let them think they've won whatever it is they've won. Y'know - I don't think I've seen anyone here (aside from the humorists) say what they think a raid is. They've said what they think SE thinks a raid is, but they've not said what they themselves think makes content a raid, or not a raid, without resorting to what SE classifies content as. Anyone care to state, without regard to developer, what they think makes raid content raid content, and what makes group content group content?
Not really since it isn't multi group, it's just an 8 man dungeon. Keep thinking saying it classifies as a raid will make the game seem like it has more content, or saying it isn't a raid will make the content magically disappear and make everyone unsubscribe in an instant or whatever silly thing people's love for Final Fantasy has made them believe to the point they keep blindly defending it and arguing about it.
I agree, dunno why they're so intent on twisting Coil into fitting into the definition of a raid like it means something special. Raids are simply multi group content, especially dungeon content mostly instanced nowadays, regardless of its difficulty or "prestige". Apparently having more raids means a game is better and will instantly attract another 2 million registered users or something? It's so silly. Coil is still Coil and it's hard and that's it, it's 8 man which means it's just the top endgame dungeon, still not a raid, still doesn't devaluate it by not calling it one, still classifying it as one doesn't make it more important or make it stand out more.Nothing I've said has invalidated or devalued their accomplishment in beating BCoC and/or SCoB. And you and Roth keep on doing whatever it is you all do. None of it will matter because Coil IS a raid. Not really since it isn't multi group, it's just an 8 man dungeon. Don't know why you two are so intent on twisting Coil into fitting into your "not-a-raid" definition like is means something special. Raids are simply what the game decides to classify as a raid, for example in XIV BCoB and SCoB. Apparently saying something isn't a raid in hopes of getting more raid content will magically make more raid content appear and attract 2 million registered users or something? It is so silly. Coil is a raid it doesn't devalue raids in other MMOs.I agree, dunno why they're so intent on twisting Coil into fitting into the definition of a raid like it means something special. Nothing else really, just what's classified under the Duty Finder, that's pretty much it and apparently that means a lot? Still doesn't make it multi party content but hopefully we'll get more in the future.
