Again, missing the point of what was said. Read post 28.I actually decided to look this up and I don't feel it's a fair comparison.
9s-24s (ROAR I'M A BOSS) ::: 10:30 to 12:25
You start this raid off with a 15 second cutscene.
You then fight a boss who actively talks in VO's for 10 minutes (And that is on the short side - this was a speed run video)
You then get an two back-to-back cutscenes totalling at most 2 minutes. And by my eye, the cutscene seemed to be freaking out (or it could be the whole clone thing)
So that's at most 2minutes 15 seconds of cutscenes. That's barely ONE cutscene for us final fantasy players, and it's put at the start as well as at the end of the dungoun, and doesn't break the flow of combat or action at any point in time. THAT is why it works there - they aren't of the quality, length, or depth that we as Final Fantasy fans are used to.

That is also why I said most are boss intros, which aren't long at all. And that it isn't about just the cutscenes. Focusing just on the cutscene aspect is missing the entire problem.
