This implies that he is talking about the way players treat others that want to take it slow. Watching cutscenes is just the vehicle for this debate in XIV. And it only done once. I don't think ANYONE has ever defended the guy who wants to watch the cutscenes EVERYTIME.

The CS watchers defenders don't want others to "take it slow". They want others to stop playing. "Taking it slow" to me, is playing (as in DOING something) at a slow pace, not speed running. But it does not mean not playing at all, or standing around.

Again, I didn't bring any of that up. He did. He was talking about wanting a game that allows players to take it slow. Which is what we are talking about. We aren't talking about standing around. Watching cutscenes is playing the game at your own pace. Just standing in the cutscene would be what you are describing, which is not being talked about or defended.
