The reason Summoner needs revamp threads keep popping up

I think they need to balance the Summoner between Dots and Pets. Based on what Egi is out the Summoner gains control over that specific element ie
Ifrit Egi -The Summoner gains ability to summon fire down from the skin which apply burning dots to up to 4 enemies
Titan Egi - The Summoner gains the ability to summon earth quakes which apply heavy to all enemies in the aoe
Garuda Egi - The Summoner gains the ability to summon tornados which apply wind burn to all enemies.

That would make sense if they let the egi do the dotting tho.
