I don't know that its any one role, some people just think being a snowflake and protecting their delicate feelings are more important than the other 7 peoples fun and time. Some people also eat crayons.Ok so reading along the issue is parsers may (and in some instances have) create(d) a negative environment for the community because the info can be used to single out a player based on performance. Right?
So how have tanks and healers survived this long without getting the banstick? Hell, you don't even need numbers. A healer that lacks proficiency or a tank that can't hold agro has headlined just as many threads in these forums (or more depending on who you ask) as any program that tracks DPS. As DPS seems to be what the parsing community is focused on. So looking at this, what makes the DPS market so... protective of its standings in a party?
