I've been trying to get Atmas for 80 hours now, and I only have two to show for it...

I'm 0/12 for the entirety of this release. Granted I only started last week, but I'd like to at least see ONE.

They do exist...I have 5 / 12 so far and have been working on the ATMA of the Maiden for a while now and no pop so far...come on man...I want to be half done tonight....LOL.

I started yesterday and have 9 Atma. It's taken me 1, 3, 4, 15, 27, 30, 30, 42, and 67 fates. I've done 67 fates so far for the 10th one but no drop yet. All of my farming has been solo. I've gotten a few silver and bronze but all my drops have been on golds. I'm hearing a lot of speculation about a 2-3% drop rate.

Been farming since patch. Only three so far. Spent hours and hours and hours in East Shroud, still nothing, while I got Central Shroud Atma after just 3 fates. Only got 3 in total so far.

Really, SE, if even us hardcore players grow tired of this, how should any casual make it?

I thought I'll just repost this here in the hope it might help some people.

To those people who have farmed for hours and hours. Are you doing just enough damage to the mobs to claim credit and move to the next? Are you teleporting to the nearest aetheryte or trying to save the measly 70 gil? so many times I have seen players walking from one end of the map to the other for a fate and it ending before they reach it. Are you using instant spells to target monsters instead of long cast time attacks? Are you targeting mobs with the highest hp to have the best chance of getting a hit in before other players zerg then down?

Well even with the above, 50 hours and 9 atmas. Hang in there people..

It's only been a week; the next patch probably won't be announced until June, and we probably won't be seeing it until September. That's literally 6 months away, and your complaining about a week? They give us one thing, one thing that requires a little bit of extra time and effort, and you act like its the end of the world, because you weren't instantly handed over your loot. That's the exact mentality that killed WoW and made it the awful baby community it is today.

people wanted more of a reason to log in - you got it
people wanted to reason to actually go out into the world - you got it.
people wanted to interact with their server - you got it.

and yet here you are, whining like a bunch of children; its pathetic.
