Feedback Regarding the Relic Upgrade Quest

I am sitting at 7/12 and have had two ATMA's really give me trouble...Central Shroud "Maiden" took me three days to get... and now I am on the dreaded Upper La Noscea which I have been working on for 4 days now. I really think that at the end of this we should not have just got a frigging "Paint Job" on our weapon...we should have got something on it for all that work. At least with the books we have clear progression and only RNG is waiting for those particular FATES to spawn which I heard some are a pain in the ass...but at least they spawn sometime for sure. Locking the other weapon behind Coil is total CRAP SE...what the hell is that all about???
I am still stuck on Titan EX becasue I can dodge but once again no freaking body else can...god dang it all to heck....totally sucks!!!!Trying to get him down so that I can beat Ifrit and get working on Leviathan so I can get that weapon before the long haul on stupid Animus.

Also for the people that are taking too long to get your Atma let me give you a tip stop teleporting and start running around to your fates.

I believe it resets your chances, I never teleported and got all mine within a couple of days, cousin got his in 3 days I told him not to teleport.

also I didn't join no atma party because I believe it lowers chances also, I am not trying to be mean about this but its not hard to get atma.

all are your theories.. i get 12 fate in a day teleporting.. and i get zero a day running around outer LN.. unless dev or offical post say other wise.. all are just rumor.

I notice its mostly only the ones with a lot of 50 jobs complaining.

I have all jobs 50 and I wasn't complaining about this Atma Quest, because I have to have all relic animus.

Did I say it's too hard? I didn't say it was but people are asking for other means of getting it besides fates or higher drop rate to make it easy. dungeons will just make it even longer. SE said it would be a long process. so anything they change it too will be longer to get, fates are best option.

grinding fate is easy already.. raising drop rate don't make it easy.. only make it more fair for ppl.... instead of a differences of 1 fate and u get it and 1028310293810923 fate and u still don't get it... to say 1 fate and 10 fate differences

You're right, but your direction is skewed. First off, RNG is a terrible way to lock someone out from completing a quest, let alone advancing in one. Secondly, the quest design itself is terrible. Having people grind something that they've been saying is boring/unfun/mindless and despised being forced to do (like CT quests.. that were only 4 FATES), for a minute chance that they might obtain one out of twelve items that they need in order to start on another quest that requires copious amounts of time to complete. All this coupled with the fact that RNG does its job far too well and creates an unfair rift where people can get the item in 4 hours while others (like me) literally take 72 hours to get all 12 of their atma. Causing further discord within the community because lucky person A got his in 4 hours while frustrated unlucky person B had to farm 18 times longer to advance to the same part in the quest, now farther behind due to the design itself.

Completely fair, how could I have second-guessed your amazing wisdom /sarcasm.

We don't want it easy.

We don't want it monotonous.

We want a fair system in place that shows progress. Something you can say "I'll make sure to complete this much of this portion of this quest today, and go do something else" and actually complete something and move closer to the final goal rather than never knowing if you're any closer to your next Atma at the 10th hour of grinding Outer La Noscea than you were at your first. By all means, make it a grind. But make it fair and meaningful, not something people get by being "lucky".

The only reason you guys are complaining is that you have a lot of 50's that have relics and you don't wanna do fates for all your relic weapons.

So you complain and complain and complain and hope SE see's it and decides to nerf it so you can have it easier, I notice its mostly only the ones with a lot of 50 jobs complaining and these are the same people who complained about them nerfing coil I believe that said they wouldn't have anything to show for it, I am positive they are.

If I was SE I wouldn't listen I mean they've been slaving over this game and trying to make you happy with new content every time its a new complaint should be lucky to even talk to the devs directly.
