I guess you could say its your fate to do FATEs.
I guess you could say its your fate to do FATEs.
Do you think they Will do any adjustment or just ignore these pages?
They shoud add a bonus.
The longer you stay in the same zone, the more chance you have to get your atma.
Like,+0.5% for each fate done without getting your atma.
This way, you know that even if you're really unlucky, you'll get it eventually.
I really hate fate, even more than I did before.
I don't mind timesink (second part is good) or challenge (hopefully we'll get some to upgrade our relic...)
But this is just a huge slap in the face. Doing useless, brainless, rewardless, low level content, to get one of the best weapon of the game...
But anyway, i've got my relic atma, so I'm done with this shit. (will wait for nerf before doing another)

can't really ignore a 67 page thread...
I was fine with it at start. around 3% was still kinda reasonable but being stuck at 4 atmas after another 150 fates in 1 zone is just wrong, especially since this part of the quest doesn't improve the weapon at all...
was even starting to wonder if there is a bug that keeps you from optaining an atma if you put a glamour over your zenith weapon, but I guess it's all RNG. RNG and karma

I don't know if it's intentional but Atma and Animus weapons have low damages compared to others.
Eg:
For warrior:
Atma (lvl 100) 46 damage = other lvl 90 weapon, 46 damage
Amimus (lvl 110) 49 damage = weather lvl 100 weapon, 49 damage
Coil already has a lvl 115 weapon drop and I'm ok with it being higher. But being a subpar lvl 110 weapon, really?
The funny tragic thing is that you have to do fates even in the Second part of the quest.
Dynamis weapons, the paper grinds, access to sky, sea, ect, if you want the precious, you're going to have to invest the time to get it. My suggestion if you're currently not in a FC you find one, because from this point forward, the time sinks and more difficult group content begins. If you want the end all be all gears in pve you're not only going to require to have the time investment, but the skill to get it done.
Just wait for the level cap grinds. Players of WoW, welcome to final fantasy, I want to teach you a new word it's called, time commitment, for a weapon that was not ment to be had by everyone, you do have alternatives at least, but from what I hear coil got harder too.
If casual time is all you can afford, then casual rewards is all you'll get. Which isn't a bad thing, but don't expect to be handed everything in this game pve has to offer for very little commitment on your part.

Animus is i100 as well, they mentioned they'll be extending it in 2.25.I don't know if it's intentional but Atma and Animus weapons have low damages compared to others.
Do I think this kind of time commitment of 12 hours a day 7 days a week, no people work from 8-12 hours a day and have families, but I do think that it will require the kind of commitment in your time, to not be able to play other games, and it will require the time you do have to play to spend that time wisely.
