The only reason parsing isn't supported officially is because people can't stand be shown how bad they are with actual evidence, and all those adorable excuses mean nothing.

People can't stand to think that perhaps they actually aren't very good at something, and require some practice and effort to improve.

But hey, this is the era of the participation trophies.

Parsing is helpful as well as toxic. If everyone rely on parses, no one would be doing the mechanics properly. Do you really want drama over
"Your parse suck" --> "Well I don't you killing plumes do I"
"Hahah I rule on titan" --> "Dude help break me out of the jail idiot"
" Where's my ballad" ---> "I was peoning myself"

It's just toxic, in general just like every tank out pulling each other in CT bone dragon, and no one doing the mechanics properly.

How does every dps parse 200+ in Titan Ex but the jails are always late? Cause they're all busy parsing themselves.

When parsing fights, the numbers should be looked at when doing mechanics properly obviously...

THIS. I ran numbers last night because two monks in our FC Alliance wanted to epeen each other. So we did Ultima HM. They died...ALOT...so I turned it off. People don't seem to realize that you can't do any damage if you're dead. So for people who like to stand in aoe pools or not avoid targeted skill shots by bosses just to up their damage, I get frustrated. You're wasting my time and the time of others in the run with you.
