A lesson on why parsers should be a bannable offence, now I know the real reason for parsers is as an aid to improve dps, but when it comes to calling players out over dps using them, they should be bannable. Just in the Thornmarch to get my win (I don't get to play much) we wipe once and a healer parsing the fight just says "Delsus are you trolling, your dps was xxk"

Um, yeah if I didn't badly need the win before 2.2 I would have left there and then, I don't normally take that kind of douchebaggery. (is that even a word?)

If you are not parsing above 220 at worst, you should practice on dummies to better your rotation and your class. Would you want to do Satasha with a healer that was in cleric stance the entire time and never healed, because by being a sub-par DPS that is what you are doing to your group.

Try working on your rotations. You're Ilvl looks to be about 75. No reason you shouldn't have been doing enough dmg in the fight.

OP clearly says he haven't got much experience, and admitted it. Doesn't give justice for someone using parser to look down upon OP. Better use parser to give some constructive advice on how to play job better, instead of saying "You suck!".

Perhaps I should have phrased that better, when I say I don't get to play much I mean I don't get to play much now, I will admit I have the experiance, but you have hit the nail on the head about why I am angry about it, I have no problems with constructive criticism, in fact I welcome it, but when people just say "you suck" then yeah they are scum.

Problem is you DO suck. So improve yourself and get over it.

The guy has myth helm and zenith weapon plus pretty much full Darklight. By "not playing much" he just means he hasn't gotten around to moogle, not that he's inexperienced. That's probably why the healer gave him grief.

Parsers ARE a bannable offense. If you reported that person, he would have been banned for having third party software running on the game. That guy using the info to harass you is exactly what YoshiP warned us NOT to do with Parsers.

This pretty much. If anyone harrasses you and causes you issues not to enjoy the game just report them. Especially this guy saying your doing bad dps out in the open. If he would of said it over TS or mumble its fine. He's basically screaming ban me.

The only reason parsing isn't supported officially is because people can't stand be shown how bad they are with actual evidence, and all those adorable excuses mean nothing.

People can't stand to think that perhaps they actually aren't very good at something, and require some practice and effort to improve.

But hey, this is the era of the participation trophies.
