There are no dogs in this game, only catgirls and catmen. Meow.
For PLD i'm ilv90 so no point in CT, Turn 5 is the only thing I need. Crafting is continually getting nerfed, and Ilv90 is better. Fates are boring no point doing fates if you are max level. Every single EX primal drop for Tank is not BiS for PLD including the weapon.
2.1 = filler content like an anime series.
I'm pretty sure I enjoy group oriented MMOs - However Yoshi designed ARR to be as "self-sufficient" as possible which is why you can barely do anything prior to end-game with people or at best 4 people if it's a dungeon. Unless you count FATEs, which no one really does in an organized manner anyway.
Even in 1.0 we were able to go into Open World dungeons with 15 player parties which later was scaled down to 8 for dungeons that are now 4 man in ARR.
I agree with you. And that's the problem. When a game tries to be a jack-of-all-trades it sounds great, but what really happens people forget about; the game becomes a master of none. All aspects become worn thin and it feels like something is missing.I'm pretty sure I enjoy group oriented MMOs - However Yoshi designed ARR to be as "self-sufficient" as possible which is why you can barely do anything prior to end-game with people or at best 4 people if it's a dungeon. Actually, the Party Finder is a godsend. It allows you to weed out all the Titan HM groups that want to be carried. Used Duty Finder to learn the fight but only one of the groups ever got close. Used Party Finder to find a group with an average Ilevel of 70 and presto,1-shotted Titan. SE has made it ridiculously easy since the patch to get darklight gear and myth cap every week so I don't see why you're whining. They have made the game so dependent on dungeons and parties to get these stupid stones that take so very long to get that it is difficult to play and enjoy yourself.
People are demanding experience for runs and those of us that don't have it are left out in the cold. As the groups that are left are of newbees and 9 out of 10 we go no where.
The duty finder and roulette are a joke - for weeks I have tried these and every time I get in one it is on the way out as they can not handle it. Part of this is the poor caliber of some players and you can not help that. But these people demanding exp players are not supporting the foundation of these games as to get people together to play a great game and have fun. They are ruining it!!...
Bah humbug!
This is howI see it...
This thread is dependent, demanding, a joke, and is not going anywhere...
Experience doesn't grow outta your azz...you gain them...you know trial and error..-_-'
This is just an excuse, I'm sorry that you in your own words, have little understanding of an MMO, I have been playing them for 11 years now and a successful mmo caters to all players at all times.I'll never understand why people buy an mmo, pay for said mmo, and then expect there to be loads of solo content. It's an online game. The point is to play with other people. Joining a free company that wants to do the group content is a good first step. If you don't like this aspect of the game then this genre is probably not for you. This isn't meant to sound nasty, but it's the truth. There's plenty of single player rpg's out there that will offer the type of enjoyment that you may be looking for.
Sometimes I just don't want to party up with people, don't want to run scripted content and just like to roam around doing my thing. If you want to run dungeons all day every day, that's ok, if the epitome of great content is joining an FC and doing extreme whatever that's ok too. The point isn't just to play with people, it's to have fun and be able to progress with the content irrespective of how you want to play the game.
I'll never understand people with the hive mentality, you are with us and do what we do or there is no room for you in this game. Can you imagine what this game would be like without people who do "other" content? Lifeless and empty.
