Game Has Gone to the Dogs

They have made the game so dependent on dungeons and parties to get these stupid stones that take so very long to get that it is difficult to play and enjoy yourself.

People are demanding experience for runs and those of us that don't have it are left out in the cold. As the groups that are left are of newbees and 9 out of 10 we go no where.

The duty finder and roulette are a joke - for weeks I have tried these and every time I get in one it is on the way out as they can not handle it. Part of this is the poor caliber of some players and you can not help that. But these people demanding exp players are not supporting the foundation of these games as to get people together to play a great game and have fun. They are ruining it!!!

Sorry but this is how I see it - I am sure many other people have a different story to tell. I just want to get it out there so that Square Enix may see this and have other people with the same complaint and change things in this game.

What this game lack is a REAL Open world content. Not talking about FATEs, I'm talking about exploration, things you can go around and without any pressure. They've added treasure hunt and that's a step in the right direction, but we really need much more than that. I love the game, but only standing in the city queuing and shouting for groups gets old fast.

Everything gets old fast when you are locked out from doing them as much as you want

You say majority left out so why not band together to do stuff. You don't want to learn it, you want farm groups to carry you. That's the real problem.

99% of problems could be solved in FFXIV if you just join an FC. However, maybe I'm just lucky but I do pretty good in the DF. Every now and then I get some toxic guy, but most of those super tryhards are in the PF now. I did Garuda last night and after a couple fail attempts we were just like "hey I don't think it's happening, fun playing with everyone though. nice try." No one really was at each other's throats and passing blame (the funny part too, is that I enjoyed the fail run more than the over-geared tank snoozefest run).

Also keep in mind that you've probably had 50+ smooth/fine/great dungeon runs, but those leave your mind much quickly than 1 bad run does.

Ironic considering if 90% of the population can't get into groups as you say, they can simply group with each other.

Endgame XIV is a lobby game. You stand next to the stone npc and queue up. Hell, you can't even "run" into a dungeon. You have to use the DF even with a full party (so stupid).

I'll never understand why people buy an mmo, pay for said mmo, and then expect there to be loads of solo content. It's an online game. The point is to play with other people. Joining a free company that wants to do the group content is a good first step. If you don't like this aspect of the game then this genre is probably not for you. This isn't meant to sound nasty, but it's the truth. There's plenty of single player rpg's out there that will offer the type of enjoyment that you may be looking for.
