Why people think the biggest and best land and house which suppose to fit 100+ players is a casual feature is definitively beyond comprehensive. Why people think housing should be a hardcore feature is definitively beyond all comprehension. I mean, why ? It does not make the gameplay better or more interesting, it does not add content to the game, it's just a feature meant to be RP and fun. Why the hell would you want it to be a hardcore feature ? Please clarify this point because I just cannot understand.
Yeah, after 3 months. Granted that nobody buys it before you of course, otherwise you've got to wait 3 more months on another plot or on another instance. That's half a year worth of waiting, on top of the time you needed to put together the money.
Well I don't know, does it make the game more interesting for you if not anyone can have their house in FFXIV ?
This does not mean that your home should have the coolest furniture for free.
That's fucking insane.
I was looking forward to houses but this is ridiculous.
It's hard to make cash as is, and Yoshi knows it.
This is a travesty, and discrimination that will only harm crafters in the days to come. I think the furniture market is dead in the water with these absurd prices walling off houses to put the furniture in, and a lot of FC with the money to spend on houses will do their crafting "in house" as it were.

Oh my. I'm sure SE will drop the prices in addition to the daily set drops.
I agree with you, somewhat on this point. Should the richest of the rich have the best house? Probably. It's the lower end prices of it all that baffle me. Even for what's supposed to be a team effort it seems a bit much. I'm all for having to work for something in an MMO but I think the prices could have been a bit lower if these are the finalized numbers.
Furniture market was dead on arrival anyway, for Free Company housing at least, personal housing might be a different story. Most Free Companies should already be able to craft furniture themselves, even those that cant... Furniture was never going to be a good market anyway, outside the trophies from Primals/Coil. Materials are too cheap, and with no need to HQ... Yeah...This is travesty that will only harm crafters in the days to come. I think the furniture market is dead in the water with these absurd prices walling off houses to put the furniture in, and a lot of FC with the money to spend on houses will do their crafting "in house" as it were.
Ideally though, they should have made it so we actually have to build the house. Like I said earlier though, that would just mean gatherers/crafters would be screwing you out of Gil, instead of SE. Rather than "I can't get that much Gil!", we'd have "I can't get that many Logs!" instead, too...

Look, I don't really wanna get into it with you, but the problem for many is this simple:
My friends and I have played this game since 1.0 launch. We saved, we worked together, we played fair. We STLL can't logically afford a 'good' house on our server. So while I agree that 'not everyone should have a big house' A FC of 40 active members should be able to afford a 'big house' after 2+ years of playing the game....without totally bankrupting themselves. I don't need to be house poor.
