The Story mode primal fights aren't an easier alternative to the Hard Modes. They're both part of the story, just different parts. You can't do the story mode and get story completion for the hard mode.

And as others have said, the problem is that they already plan to nerf the content to make it easier, it's a design choice they made. So now you want them to stop working on something else, to make this separate mode? For what usually is a rather small minority of people?
