It could be worse. There's a phrase that WoW players jokingly use: "Working as intended." Because that's what Blizzard says half the time.

At least SE is acknowledging our issues, instead of replying with arrogance.

    Soon™

That's another one that gaming companies have a habit of using these days...I've seen at least 4 use it :X

I wish everything was "working as intended" instead.

It means there are numerous bugs and glitches in the game but rather than deal with them Blizzard just says it's working as intended.

I wish that started with WOW. It started with FFXI. GMs and community reps were telling us "working as intended" looooooong before vanilla came out. Half the time it was a lazy copout from a GM who didn't care about an issue you were having and rather than understand what the player was saying, he would just puke out "working as intended" and that'd be the end of it. Countering Genbu, JPs using Wall of Justice and not getting banned, Salvage dupes, etc.

I'm sure it likely predates XI, but it's pretty infamous/notorious in XI, whereas in WOW it's tinted with the same community that group has, which is that of friendlier, more open developers fighting off waves of angsty 12-year-olds suffering from diminished e-peen because WHY U HAET PALLY SO MUCH.

    >implying FFXI community was any better.

Ah... unless you were a part of that group.

No... be glad you didnt start with WoW. because WoW is where all the angsty 12-year-olds fester. + adults that act like angsty 12-year-olds. The playerbase of WoW is immature.
