I really like everything that was in the battle reform blueprint, no complaints at all.
Hopefully the jobs won’t be pigeonholed into using one specific weapon like the classes.

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
No they are not. The blueprints specifically says they are NOT advanced classes, they are Role Specializations. IE Paladin is Tank, White Mage is Healer.
Rather than being advanced versions of classes, we would like players to think of jobs as specialized playing styles optimized for partying.

Yeah but as an extension I doubt they will be able to use anything other than the class that it branches from weapon. Unless they make specific gear for the new jobs as well. Who knows! Maybe they will use the class's equipment + new job specific junk.
Lets say Marauder becomes.
Dark-knight
Or
Warior
Both jobs can use the Great axes, but Dark knights can also use Scyths, and Wariors can use Great swords.
To be honest that would be dumb, especially if at that point Scyths and Great Swords were not implemented into the Armoury System as Weapon Classes which they should be.Yeah but as an extension I doubt they will be able to use anything other than the class that it branches from weapon. Class = your wep but for all we know Job does not = Wep. Marauder could easy be Dark knight or Warrior but looking at the screenshot of the new AF coming out i think it's Dark knight

He said two types of dungeons, not two dungeons.
Your concern with the animations is being addressed:
For the first stage, we will implement the core mechanics of auto-attack and perform provisional adjustments to the accompanying damage algorithm. The next stage, planned to take place after the aforementioned crowd control and action/skill revisions, will involve a fine-tuning of the auto-attack algorithm. Other algorithms will also undergo revisions, which will be explained further below. In so doing, we hope to further draw out the unique flavor of each weapon. At this same time, we will also carry out motion and other graphical revisions to accommodate auto-attack.
