The idea of a tank is to mitigate and control damage coming through the the party though, it's the DDs jobs to bring in the pain, the way I see it warriors are filling neither rolls.You can't have the best of Both World anyway, Paladin have shield, more defensive skills, better stun then Warrior. But their damage is relatively low. Warrior damage is decent, have lot of AOE damaging ability, can hold aggro on multiple mob better, can replenish their hp. But they don't have a shield which lose a lot of defend, don't have a lot of defensive buff like a Paladin.
Most people take Paladin over Warrior for end game just to be safe and put less stress on the healer. The battle go faster with a Warrior Tank, but the trade off is Warrior is more risky as a Tank compare to Paladin.


Which is why a Paladin is always prefer over a Warrior in End Game. Warrior can Tank all Dungeon, but End Game a Paladin does it better. As a Tank role is for you to take the least amount of damage and hold aggro, not DPS, and a Paladin is all of this. Warrior have a lot of HP but I always see their HP go way too low too fast, it does make them risky to bring a long.
