No, Alpha is all about stress testing servers, basic stuff to keep the servers and the fundament of the game stable before moving into beta which is more indepth matters like battle, animations and so forth. Wait until Beta and then post feedback.
uhh. why not tell them what I think now. what is the downside to that, at all. Even Yoshi-P tells his dev team saying "it's just an alpha" is not an excuse.
I'll just leave my signature here
And that is the attitude the developers need to keep. That is to encourage the dev team. It doesn't mean that everything in alpha will stay until release. Of course if it is constructive you are in your full right to post your concerns. What i'm trying to say is that you hold your concerns for a little while longer until beta. This is the time they will change these matters.
One reason, Alpha isn't the up to date game. It was already behind Beta before Alpha even started, and they have already stated it is incomplete and unpolished. Exactly what use is your critique when you have no clue if it is even a part of the current build? Saying "it's only Alpha" isn't a good excuse . . . for the developers. But we have no clue what the current look, systems, or content actual are in Beta.
Same logic would apply in beta versus release. This is the kind of thinking that leads to nothing changing. It is absolutely pointless to just say "well maybe it's different now and I just don't know it yet" There is no point in waiting to tell them what you think, just because the alpha is mainly stress testing. It's not like they said "don't give us feedback on anything except the server stability"One reason, Alpha isn't the up to date game. too realistics, but i kinda agree with op but not for this game to much yet. warhammer was ridiculous on the highest setting. it's like an acid trippers greatest site on earth. was horrid and i had to keep it on low not cause my pc but cause it just was really bad when you have tons of players all casting all over each other. though those huge big red arrows might be a little overboard but it still not really that bad i can live with it.
I honestly didn't find anything wrong with it. I was happy they showed tidbits of combat, and didn't find anything flash about it. 1.0 had larger effects. (Ex. monk simarian(sp) fist on large enemy.. *cough* miser.. or freeze on any medium or larger enemy...)
If its not seizure inducing, its not flashy. Try http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BfdsxGmosw&feature=plcp for flashy game.
