I can't wait to see all these "it's just an alpha" people transition into "it's just a beta" people.

Except most people understand that the jump in quality from Alpha to Beta is significantly larger than the jump in quality between Beta and release.
Most of what should be complained about, should be complained about in Beta where A) The build of the game is nearest to completion and B) It's the test that actually calls for such complaints.
Complaining about certain things in Alpha is like complaining your cookie isn't fully baked when you took it out of the oven halfway through it's bake time. i.e. Stupid.
Yeeeaaaaah, baking a cookie is just like making a game.
We should just expect that the game will be great when it comes out the oven, yup, just like putting cookie dough in an oven, that easy.
If that's the case then there is no point offering any feedback at all, alpha, beta, or otherwise.

I was comparing the fact that complaining in the Alpha is like complaining about an unbaked cookie halfway through it's bake time. Nowhere did I say that making the game is like making the cookie.
Please try again.
Has more to do with your horrible analogy making ability.
A cookie in an oven is composed of already decided ingredients that can't be changed.
A game in alpha is not.
Following your analogy, no feedback should be given at all because the cookie can't be changed aside from how long it stays in the oven. It just comes out of the oven (launches).

animations? <yes , please> super flashing light show? no thanks. it was way bright enough fighting stuff in ul'dah during the invasion. I was trying to take screenshots of attack animations but mostly I got bright ass flashes of light covering the target and most of the people around it. At times I couldn't even see what we were fighting because of the constant, epileptic light show. Rage of Halone might have a cool animation if it wasn't blinding lol ^^

Personally, I'd like to see a variety of motions more than bright lights. Can't stand it when the difference between three skills is the color of the light that surrounds your weapon.
This is one of the huge complaints that came with 1.0. Most of your abilities had the exact same physical motions, with the only difference being extremely underwhelming light effects.
However, since the new dev team took over, they've added some very good animations to previously bland abilities like Rage of Halone, and have added some wicked cool ones like Spirit's Within and Steel Cyclone.
You're still comparing the cookie to the game. Clearly you don't have the level of intelligence required to follow a basic comparison I'm making, so I'll write you off as a lost cause.Has more to do with your horrible analogy making ability.

But it's your poor ability to understand, though I would state that it's more like bitching that the cookie dough doesn't look like a cookie. Your complaints are still premature. Alpha is not meant to display game content or actions, it's meant to test server stability. It is understood that most things (animations, quest, et.) are likely already changed. Beta is when such things are actually being tested.
