Well, the Echo doesn't exactly change the past (it's not time travel), but it changes the memory of the person you're echoing into, right?

Like the kid from the ALC questline, he thought you were the one that saved him in Coerthas. Same with the CNJ quest.

Yeah, I'm not gonna worry too much about this and see how ARR handles it this time.

EDIT: You know what I don't get? I thought Minfilia had the Echo, but she couldn't understand what the Sylphs were saying. *shrug* I guess she doesn't have it, or her power level isn't high enough.
