I don't follow you? can you explain it better you not really giving much i don't see the issue at all. DRK would have diff class and diff action from other but the base would be GLA they can even give Dark knight a new wep that can only be use if you set the dark knight stone and become a darkknight.

and i see jobs getting more skills as we get level 60+

What she's getting at is that PLD and DRK would be too similar, given that in the usual lore statements they are complete opposites. Because they are based on GLA which has innate survival skills and tanking skills, DRK won't fit well with the current GLA. Which is why I feel that DRK would be better to be branched from LNC.

However that's considering things from the point of view of 1.0. As I've been saying, we don't know what they're doing with 2.0. We've already seen examples of jobs not getting access to everything the class does with Summoner. All we're doing right now is evaluating things from an outdated point of view.

Which is part of what makes this discussion fairly useless. We know very little about exactly how the class - job relationship works in 2.0.

And that could be said at the whole topic. People are evaluating classes and jobs from an outdated point of view, and not seeing that everything in ARR could be changed. And you are very accurate in your statement, but I was just explaining it from how indira saw it.
