    which bring us right back around why have classes at all, its clearly limiting what the Dev team can do.

    Well not really. Could go something like Archer > Bard > Ranger if needed. Just because classes are generic it doesn't mean they are limited to additional jobs or content.

    That makes literally no sense and woudl require 2 job stones since you would have to be on Bard to be on Ranger. Unless you mean, Archer > Bard OR Ranger (but you get Ranger second).

    With how the classes are set up in 1.0, multiple jobs per class doesn't work well as you have a majority of the job based on the class. In 2.0? Who knows. Hopefully they'll make it so jobs aren't based so heavily on the abilities from their classes. We're already seeing this with Summoner not having access to everything Arcanist does.

    Still not following. They are devs and can rework any aspect of the game if needed. Just how are they limited? All I'm saying is that content won't be limited just because of a framework they put in 1.0.

    Yoshi-p himself said that he want to add more jobs to each class. How wont it be a good idea? i don't see any issue with that. If you want to play Darkknight you need GLA,THM and MRD level to a point "example"

    You don't have to play as Darkknight you can keep playing PLD if you like so you don't have to worry about getting new gear and stuff for it. But people who do would have to work if it was two jobs by themself anyways so don't see any issue why this wont work.

    If they did it in 1.0, yeah. We don't know how they're doing things for 2.0. Until we see how the system works firsthand all we're really doing is speculating.

    I don't follow you? can you explain it better you not really giving much i don't see the issue at all. DRK would have diff class and diff action from other but the base would be GLA they can even give Dark knight a new wep that can only be use if you set the dark knight stone and become a darkknight.

    and i see jobs getting more skills as we get level 60+
