    Players that cast lots but don't win will instead receive tokens, which can be collected and exchanged for items. So you are guaranteed to receive something regardless of the result.
    This to me sounds like only those who cast lots and fail receive tokens. All others who have their timers on cooldown and have not lotted will receive nothing?

    Seems like it.

    Also seems to pretty much confirm reset timers on being able to lot instead of lock-out timers. It makes sense, since essentially you'll only be given the chance to get something once every 2-3 days per content, but you wont be locked out if you wanna play with or help others.

    So.. in PUG groups will probably only last one run. Since not everyone will have the same "counter".

    Based on the system though, events most likely won't be designed around the "repeat every 15 minutes until you get something" scheme anymore though.

    That's fine with me. I'd rather only have to play a specific content a few times a day at most in order to (example) get the items I want within a few weeks.

    I hope that's the way it is too. Doing the same dungeon every night 4 hours a night gets stale quickly.

    This also pretty much confirms that you are not forced to lot and therefor a group of friends can challenge the content repeatedly with guaranteed drops and just lot on the things they want, one at a time.

    That's what i was hoping for.

    Perhaps, they just are lost... no lot = no drop. Content finder would become a very important system if that was the case.


    I'm very curious to see how this system will work. It sounds pretty good overall~
    I think this will actually force people into spamming less, since they're limited in how often they can receive loot. If token gear is weaker than what drops from the normal bosses, how many people are going to keep running something once their lots are exhausted? Think of it this way: would you keep running AV/CC only to have access to the trash greens that continuously drop? No, you're running those for the Darklight.
