Unhappy people are just unhappy with anything. If "old" players are unable to enjoy what they have today, it is just because they now are old and feel the past it's better and it's not. It's just the lack of ability to appreciate the evolution of things even if they are minimal. Things are always getting better but you need to stop comparing the past or you'll be blind with just your nostalgia of the past.

that's like saying i don't like fighter games like street fighter any more cause they are getting better. the only thing changing in those games is they are getting more complex. longer strings of combo's or what have you. take more time to memorize and get good at characters. doesn't mean they can't make a A+ fighter that is more simpler. so yeah i'm getting older, i don't smoke pot and play all day, i can't kick a teens butt in it. but why are mmo's getting stupider and stupider to play and dumbed down while all other genre are being taken up a notch.

the reality is we should have everything we had back then with the new. also it's a fact that no matter what at the end of the day it's asking for more in a game not less. then who ever doesn't want to do more doesn't have to. create a top notch mmo then add ways to make it easier with options for others, or separate servers. rather then just start at the bottom and screw everyone else cause it's cheap, easy and probably way more profitable.
