The JP threads I've looked over have suggested otherwise. A lot of JP are very happy about it.

Yes, you could say that. I'm unhappy that people are making a stink about this when it's usually what players prefer in most games. It's a simple fact that complaints are one of the most common things that bring a person to a forum. I know from experience as a moderator on several forums.

What is there to reply to? You say that there's loads of Japanese threads which agree with the regional servers, yet provide no citations.
